The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced that Belgrade has begun negotiations with Abu Dhabi on the construction of small modular reactors.
A small modular nuclear power station is a nuclear reactor of relatively small size and power, consisting of modules that are manufactured in a factory and then transported, assembled, and put into operation on any prepared site.
“We have started negotiations on how to build them, how to acquire the necessary knowledge for this, and how to obtain clean green energy in the future,”
said the Serbian leader, emphasizing that there is a growing demand for energy resources in the world.
